Frequently asked questions
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Service termination takes approximately eight minutes to become effective — the time it takes light to leave the data center and stop reaching you. No long-term contract beyond the laws of physics.
What happens if I don't pay?
Your account will be migrated to Pluto. Pluto is cold, distant, and no longer classified as a primary region, but the migration is fully automated and requires no action on your part.
Do you collect my data?
Only your latitude, longitude, orbital parameters, vitamin D levels, and existential dread. This telemetry is used solely to deliver photons more confidently and to improve our investor updates.
Is there a refund policy?
Refunds are issued in kind: any unused daylight is credited back to the night sky, where it becomes starlight. Cash refunds are available pending a 4.5-billion-year review period.
Can I self-host the Sun?
Self-hosting a main-sequence star is technically supported but not recommended. Minimum requirements include 1.989×10³⁰ kg of hydrogen and a tolerance for 15-million-degree core temperatures. Most teams find the managed service more cost-effective.
What's your sustainability commitment?
